A group of volunteers from the New Zealand China Union of Culture and Arts and the wider Chinese community, organized by the Everyone an Artist Trust, was gladly participating in a clean up of our beautiful waterways at the Windsurfer’s Reserve with many volunteers from the local community led by Conservation Volunteers. It was a special way to celebrate Mother’s Day and Papatuanuku/Mother Earth. These artists, ethnic migrants, students, mums and kids are all environmental protection volunteers who are galvanizing a collective will to make the world better.
